I thought it might be fun to do a comic spotlight every so often. And since tonight I released the very first image collection of Musclexx(more to come by the way), I thought it only fitting to have the first What a Drain be today's spotlight comic.
Without a doubt the What A Drain series is one of the most popular comic series for Mighty Female Muscle Comix and this is the issue that started it all. This issue also has the most Musclexx art in it as well. Musclexx has such a unique and amazing style, and he really seems to capture every sinew, every flex, every bulge, every striation, and every vascular vein in each of his lovely and massive feminine beauties that he draws.
And to put his amazing work into a sequential comic really gives the images even greater impact and meaning. It really heightens the journey of the woman, from a frail and petite twig of girl into the massive muscular shredded amazon muscle goddess, all the while draining every ounce and inch of muscle from a hapless muscle man. She gets bigger and stronger, while he gets skinnier and weaker. Even though I'm using lots of verbiage to describe his incredible art, trust me, words do not do his art justice.
The reception of the first What A Drain was so great that it has spawned 4 sequels. And I hope even more will be coming soon as well. Musclexx also had some work featured in the FMG Overload series, but that is another blog post for another day.
